An upgraded version of Planet Catcha. The original was my entry to GB Jam 11, with the quality you can expect from a solo dev's first jam. The new Red Dwarf/Blue Giant version is a significantly more polished version of the original. Free of the jam restrictions the game now uses multiple colours, a larger screen resolution, and touch controls for smartphone users.
The goal of the game is to catch 6 different types of planets in your star's orbit. You engage in 1v1 turn based battles using the planets you already have. Each planet has Hit Points, and getting hit by your opponent or bouncing off the central star looses one HP each per turn.
To catch a planet, knock (or lure) them into the green circle. The chance to catch the planet is random, but your odds are higher if their HP is low. A planet losing all their HP ends the battle. At the end of the battle you will get stardust added or removed from your total.
Different planet types have different stats, and some have special abilites. You will have to play the game to find out what they are.
